The Blagg Family
Oh, this session was so sweet. I have to say I meet some pretty laid back first time parents and Karen and JD were no exception. It's always very interesting to watch couples interact with their brand new babies, like they always new how to care for them. This is just the best job ever and if I don't say enough, I am so honored to capture important moments like these. Here are a few of my favorites from this session....

Love this one of Karen...so sweet!

My Family...
I was going through some old images with my mom yesterday and I came across a few of her helping my sister's kids with their homework. I LOVE these photographs, not only because I happen to have the cutest nieces and nephews ever, but because I remember having these exact moments with my mom when I was in school. I have to say that I have one of the most patient mothers in the world - believe me, I needed a patient mom when I was in school and I'm so thankful I had that. I'm also thankful that I have been able to remain close to my mom through the years, she is one of my best friends and I admire her more than anyone I have ever met. She will probably not be happy that I posted images of her in an old t-shirt, but I happen to think she is beautiful even in her grungy clothes!
Math with Macey...

Flash cards with James...

Okay, I couldn't not post a few images of just Macey and James. They are just too cute and if you can tell, I'm missing them SOOOO much since they moved to Florida. I started getting really into photography just before Macey was born, so both of them are pretty used to Aunt Sara with a camera in their face. I would always ask them to sit for me when I had an idea or wanted to test a lighting situation, needless to say I have captured some pretty interesting images of them. Here are a few recent images that make me laugh, just I thought I would share...
I could just eat him with a spoon! I love his messy hair and big watch...
The many faces of James...
Macey is very creative and always had ideas of how and what I should be photographing...
This one makes me laugh, James is doing some kind of a jig back there!
Karin and Rob
These two make such a cute and fun couple! I had so many favorites from this session, with their cute dogs, Karin in her cowboy hat and playing on the playground...just perfect! It was so nice meeting you guys and I can't wait to meet your little one!

Allen Family
You may remember this sweet boy from a couple months ago when I photographed him and his beautiful mom while they were waiting for his dad to come home from overseas...well, he's home! Photographing this family has been such an honor for me and I'm so happy that I was able to capture these images of them all together.

How excited am I today?
UUUMMMMM, VERY! I just received the swatches for a brand new album that I will be offering...SOON! I cannot wait to show you how fabulous this album is! But, you just have to be patient...great things take time to create!
